Introduction

The role of IETS Product & Process is to guide you towards the development of your products through the drawing up of technical specifications, regulatory surveillance, risk analysis, certification and management of laboratory tests, quality audit and pre-shipment inspection. We also handle the process optimization: social audit, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, Quality Management System QMS, etc.

OUR PRODUCT-RELATED SERVICES

The development of a new product involves not only a strong collaboration between business partners, but also between different departments within the company (such as R&D, quality, logistics, marketing, etc.).
In fact, this process requires information sharing between customers and product manufacturers which need to be formalized in technical Specifications.
To optimize the development as well as the launch of your new products, IETS can assist you creating your bill of specifications that includes a full product description: raw materials, manufacturing process, traceability, control plans, packaging, logistics, finished product, etc.

The scope of the regulations is too vast and can be managed by field or topic which can be connected with each other (environment, safety, training, building, urban planning, etc.). Therefore, it is easier to designate a specialist in one or more areas in order to manage the regulatory surveillance effectively (environmental and safety specialist for example). However, one person cannot cover all the regulatory areas.
The regulatory surveillance can be subcontracted to IETS Product & Process. This outsourcing can be very useful and cost efficient as we can guarantee:

  • Comprehensive data;
  • A relevant analysis of requirements;
  • Significant time saving.

Risk Assessment is a compulsory tool that helps to get the appropriate product design and to evaluate the hazards and risks related to its use. The value of Risk Assessment is combined with the risk management process developed by manufacturers.
The universe of risks related to the product includes obvious risks (mechanical, electrical, etc.), unpredictable risk (chemical, electromagnetic, etc.), emerging and unregulated environmental risks (resources, climate, biodiversity, etc.).
Our risk assessment service can help you minimize the risk earlier in the design phase and allows you to ensure the safety and quality of your products through various methods such as of the Failure Mode and Effects Analysis « FMEA », the Preliminary Risk Analysis « PRA » and the Hazards and Operability study « HAZOP ».

If you would like to certify your products in order to comply with European, American, Russian or others regulations, we can supply the management of laboratory tests and handle the necessary steps to qualify your product as cheaply and quickly as possible through certified laboratories (ISO 17025, COFRAC, BPL etc.).

OUR PROCESS-RELATED SERVICES

The optimization of production processes is a complex task. The challenge is twofold: it is to improve the productivity and quality at the same time. Therefore, IETS offers the following approach:

  • Preliminary phase of process mapping (describing the process)
  • Conceptual optimization phase (improving the structure of the process and making it more consistent)
  • Operational optimization phase (improving the process running and making it more efficient)
  • Multi-Process optimization phase

The IETS can help you choose the right KPIs, measurement techniques and interpret the results.
